How Much Solar Subsidy Is Available?
Under the published PM Surya Ghar CFA structure, eligible residential consumers can receive Central Financial Assistance based on the applicable solar capacity and scheme guidelines.

Important: Commercial solar installations should not be presented as automatically eligible for the residential PM Surya Ghar CFA. The residential CFA component is for eligible residential consumers.
How Does the Solar Subsidy Process Work?
The process is designed to connect the customer, registered/empanelled vendor and electricity distribution utility.
Step 1 – Check Your Electricity Connection

Step 3 : Apply Through the Applicable Portal
The customer follows the applicable PM Surya Ghar process through the national portal and/or the relevant DISCOM process.

Step 5 :Rooftop Solar Installation
Rank Solar carries out the installation according to the applicable technical and scheme requirements.
Step 6 :DISCOM Verification
The required inspection and verification are completed by the concerned electricity distribution utility.
Step 7 :Net Metering & Commissioning
The applicable net-metering and commissioning procedures are completed according to the DISCOM requirements.
Step 8 :CFA / Subsidy Processing
After successful installation, documentation and verification, eligible CFA is processed according to the applicable scheme procedure.
